Accessibility Statement

We want as many people as possible to be able to use our online services without restrictions.
This accessibility information applies to: https://www.rowia.de

Last updated: 17/03/2026

1. Legal basis & reference standard

Where our digital services fall within the scope of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), we align ourselves with the requirements of EN 301 549. For web content, this standard essentially refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (conformance levels A and AA).

2. Compliance status

This online service is currently partially accessible. We are continuously working to improve accessibility and reduce known barriers.

3. Non-accessible content

The following issues may currently cause limitations in particular:

  • Some graphics, icons or images may have incomplete or missing alternative text.
  • The contrast of individual UI elements (e.g. buttons/links on image backgrounds) may vary depending on the background.
  • Keyboard navigation is generally possible; however, for certain components (e.g. dropdowns/sliders), focus order or focus visibility may not yet be fully optimized.
  • Accessibility cannot be guaranteed for individual PDF downloads, if any are provided.

4. Measures & timeline

We implement improvements based on priority – especially regarding navigation, forms, contrast, alternative text and semantic structure (headings/ARIA labels). Ongoing optimizations are carried out as part of our release and maintenance cycles.

5. Preparation of this statement

The assessment was carried out through a self-evaluation based on common testing criteria (including WCAG checkpoints) as well as spot checks using keyboard navigation and responsive layouts.

6. Feedback & contact (report a barrier)

If you notice any barriers or need information about content that is not accessible, please contact us. We will do our best to respond promptly.
